For this blog post, I chose to have Macbeth make a recommendation list for Netflix must watch shows.  Macbeth is seen throughout the play but his demeanor and insanity is slowly getting worse and worse. 1. 13 Reasons Why This show is a true experience of appearance versus reality.  When Clay starts to listen to tapes made by Hannah Baker right before her suicide, he has started to realize that not everything is as it seems.  What he once knows turns out to be a lie and he is left questioning himself and confused about what is going on and who his friends are.  Also, in the sequel to 13 Reasons Why, Clay cannot tell if Hannah is actually there or not and starts to hallucinate.  He feels as if he is actually seeing Hannah when he isn't, which is exactly what Macbeth death with a little bit past halfway through the play.  He orders people to kill Banquo but after that has happened, the ghost of Banquo now haunts Macbeth. 2. Response to question 3 I believe events in my life have been guided by fate.  When I was in first grade, I had a crush on a girl.  It was just for a few weeks where I saw her and it was almost like little kid love at first sight.  Come 8th grade year, I ended up dating her for six months. Again, freshman year, I went to see my best friend who had cancer.  When I got to his house, there was a girl there keeping him company.  I thought she was pretty cute and ended up getting her number and Snapchat.  We talked for a little bit and then we didn't talk for a year or so.  One day, I was reintroduced to her by my same friend who had beaten cancer.  We went on a few dates and I am still dating her to this day.  This is fate to me, where I am introduced to a little bit of something good and then later I am able to turn it into something better and deeper.
